That's the one bit I'm not looking forward to.. I'm the only person I know that had to be brought in with seasickness from a pedalo! I even feel a bit queasy in heavy rain...

The Santander - Plymouth journey following our last trip was the smoothest crossing I have ever had and that includes jaunts across the channel.
Also if you are on the Brittany Ferries "Pont Aven", it is huge. (From memory 43,000 tonnes)
You'll have a great time, with some truly wonderful driving roads to look forward to.
