On my problem the following was the case.
1 No power to any indicators RHS on indicating or hazard
2 Light on dash flashing quickly and a fast zzzing sound like a shortfrom under the dash.
3 I then hand a smell as if something had shorted out.
4 On the bulkhead behind the central switch panel there was a blackbox where the problem was.
5 The circuit had overheated and burnt out.
6 The car electronics guy that Perranwell took it to had the specialist soldering kit to repair a printed circuit.
Many garages use specialist electrical engineers to find and repair modern electrical problems. Garages generally fit new units if any problems I was lucky.
