in a previous life we made a pile of money with damaged car (it's from there i got the taste of fine car), if this repair cost only 6K i can eat the full interior of Ms Green Tea. If it's a Golf or a Toyota with such spectacular damage the cost will be low, but MMC doesn't have such knowledge in crash test i can bet on that ...

if you notice, they don't show you the front damage completely, have a reason for that, the second point and not the smallest it's about the damage in the body of the engine many time on front shoot the engine block be broken and that's not a small joke at all most of them can't be weld (material reasons), and if you arrive to weld it you can't hide it , so your car value decrease dramatically.

and last if the damage value is so low why MMC don't buy it back and repair ??
