I must dispute this. I think the USA is more traditionalist than You think. I will admit there are a few in Northern California who swap engines at will. But not the rest of the USA. I think My +8 Bitsa and DHC/Zetec are pretty much frowned on in the US. And I think the re-sell value will reflect this. A lot has to do with the quality of the conversion.

I also should point out that all of the Morgans that have been tarted up that I know of, were pretty much basket cases that were in pretty dire straights. My +8 Bitsa was the results of several accidents including a fire. I must admit I have enough parts to put the DHC back to original. I just wanted modern performance.
