The thing that will hide somewhere under everything else in the car just when you need it for a wheel change
...it could be designed to use the jack handle perhaps, or keep the tommy bar in a clip somewhere such as under the bonnet? The idea would not be to totally prevent theft, just to make it less opportunistic. This would not be a difficult task for a machinist (i.e. not me), just a threaded rod with a circular, flanged section at the top with a hole through it for a tommy bar. Could be s/s or even aluminium.
