About the coffee....... did you ever ordered a glass of wine in a restaurant ? They always serve you half a glass or less and on the cheque is always a full glass. If you order a bottle you get a bottle and you pay a bottle. Why you only get half a glass and pay a full glass ?
But ......... the fuel sender/rack is a different story to my opinion. It only would make a difference if you could pay at the petrol station the amount your VDO meter is showing
