I do some 300miles on my bicycle. No idea regarding depreciation.

The Mogs are used whenever I feel it is fun to do so. I do not buy fun toys on credit so the money has been spent. Why bother not to use them?
Same with good food: it is purchased for consumption, not for keeping it till it's rotten
