All this begs the question of why own something you barely use. So what annual mileage do you average, and if this is low, why do you bother owning the car
+1. The end of August will see the fourth anniversary of ownership of my 4-seater. During this time I have driven 13607 trouble-free miles, or 3402pa on average. I insure on an unrestricted mileage basis as I plan to use it more. I refuse to get caught up in considerations of depreciation/resale value, and - whilst I choose to believe I keep the car in good condition - I will not under-use it simply for the benefit of the next owner.
