I used the body coloured paint I begged from Morgan on my first service and floated it in gently with a cocktail stick. When dry after a couple of days used a number 11 scalpel - razor blade will do - to remove any from the raised bits of the badge.or wheel where it had overflowed a bit. Tape over the nut so as not to get too much on the chrome.
PS - also did the badges as well on the cowl and "boot".
