Chimes with my first approach which was to hire a Kango and have an exploratory dig. I want to avoid raising the floor too much as there's already a 3/4" step up into the garage from the drive. I was also thinking of something like Ecotile as a floor surface. Don't know if anyone's got experience of this sort of product?
I'll keep a photo log of the project for future reference.
