Arrived in Black Sod Bay, west Ireland last night after 9.5 days from Greenland. Last 4 days of easterlies pushed us north of our planned route, and we were welcomed last night at the quay by the builder of the boat and lots of his mates, off to the pub, Guinness, singing, fiddles, concertinas, Guinness etc. Today in Westport just down the coast, where Northabout was launched 15 years ago - press, TV etc. Definitely fate brought us this far north.
Tomorrow Dingle, then Sunday leave for Portishead, Bristol Thursday am.
