Hi Matt,
I too had problems with my car (+4 GDI) and took the decision to sell it and move on as the factory were very unhelpful and hard to communicate with.
I hope the factory realise they are doing themselves damage and probably losing sales, they have lost you as a customer (and me) it is going to take something special to get me back (much as I love the cars).
