I was talking to Norb just earlier he was talking about me possibly having to work around Texas law since the last time he dealt with Texas they wouldn't accept the import documents to title it. But Illinois does and so I might have to Illinois title it and then do a title transfer when I get it down here to Texas.
Either way, quite nice that our unique vehicles are being represented with their own plates in certain states. I wonder how long they would take to arrive. I plan on being in Illinois for at least a couple weeks after I get the Three Wheeler. Would be nice to have plates for the drive back to TX.
I just registered mine in Texas 2 months ago with no problem. I'd fire an email off to the DMV.
Turns out I could have registered it here in Maryland, because it looks like they passed autocycle laws just before mine was delivered. Sadly, I wasn't aware of that. And I'm not sure I can now switch the registration to Maryland without an inspection.
