Andy, I got the Libands side exit for my 4/4 Sport. When you take the tail pipe off cut a piece off the end that connected to the silencer and weld it on to the piece coming out of the back of the silencer so it makes a collar. You can then slide the site exit on and clamp it.
It made a nice noise after doing this that I really like and made a difference to the performance. My suggestion is do this mod first and see if you are happy with the improvement and then decide if you want to go the next step to do the manifold. I didn't but couldn't afford/justify the costs but others have done that on here.
The other thing is, fill up with super unleaded and stamp your foot on throttle and adapt that ECU!
