Age plays a huge part in shaping the view of 'what's special?'
I no longer want a 'supercar' having scratched that particular itch a few years ago. If I'm honest, I always felt a bit of tit driving them. Nowadays a 'special' car is an 'individual' car and my Morgan is that car for me.
I've just bought my wife a new car. It's a car. A tin box with leather seats and clever iPhone integration. A utilitarian transporter. Not special and not something you'd get any pleasure from looking at.
