when I jump the starter it turns when I turn the key it just clicks
I know brevity is the soul of wit and all that, but if you could stretch to using a few more words it might help us figure out what's going on.
What do you mean when you say "when I jump the starter", and have you checked the engine earth strap, as previously advised?
If you're taking power direct to the live connection of the starter, and the engine ground strap is ok, then the problem lies in the positive feed from the battery.
Check the cable ends very carefully, especially at the end of the positive feed where it connects to the starter motor.
