Normal rules don't apply to Aeros. Its not a well used multi owner Beemer. Anybody in the market at that budget will grab it. Zero depreciation provides plenty of slack to restore it in the future and it can be used without worrying.
I tried using that argument on the Finance and General Purposes Committee (aka SWMBO) and she has not unreasonably pointed out that since I did a pretty thorough job of emptying the household coffers with the garage build, maybe I ought to reconsider - and we all know what that means!
So somebody is going to get their hands on a great car at a bargain price, but it isn't going to be me.
Now all I have to do is pluck up the courage to tell her about the new guitar I've ordered, but at least that won't be arriving for another month or so, she might have calmed down by then...
