I'd like to solicit your thoughts on the top and side curtains. I have taken some photos and would you think these are original?
The top has a texture I have not encountered on a British car before, but the cream trim on this top is a familiar texture.
The top is now just draped over the top bows as we cannot get it to reach the last half inch to snap along the windscreen. We gave up before something split or snapped! I can only hope a day in warm sunshine will let the top stretch just enough...
I have included photos of one of the side curtains as well.
What I am getting at is I don't want to tell someone these are original, as supplied in 1961 unless I am confident of the fact. With other marques I have more experience, with Morgans, not so much.
