I think it very much depends on how you are going to use your car. I have an Aero and have just bought a 4/4 Sport.
The Aero is a sophisticated sports car in the grande routier or GT mode, great for trips to the South of France, effortless pace and comfort and a sizeable boot (by Mog standards). Like many hand-built cars there can be a degree of fettling required, but as you will be buying a used one this should have already been done - if not, a trip or two to the factory should sort it out.
The trad is a completely different experience, on a sunny day on a narrow English country road it's hard to beat!
However, on a cold and wet Glasgow morn you might wish for the working heater and pretty leakproof hood of the Aero.
Drive several examples of both and whatever you buy; enjoy!
