A few weeks ago I posted about my visit to the above and a number of TMers posted interest in a visit.
They are in steam for one day on 26th Feb (a Sunday - and a good day for a blast in the Mog as not much else happening at that time of year).If there are enough interested I could contact them to see about group parking etc. Think of about 20+ steam engines from massive beam to model traction, Victorian Electricity generating house -(looks like Frankenstein`s lair), working forge +engineering & woodshop - all steam/belt driven. Cakes & snacks to die for in the shop at great value.I suggest 11am to 3pm ish - come & go at will. Those TMers who have been will vouch for a great day out.PM me ASAP if interested so I have rough numbers.Entry fees are reasonable - adults £6 Concessions £5 Children £3 - in fact a year`s membership is (I think £12 or £9 if over 60).
