I have pulled My TR engine many times. With the engine and Moss Box still attached. I use a engine leveler. Mandatory IMO.
I set the engine and Moss/Bellhousing on 2 furniture dollies and using shims/wedges level both. I then remove the bell housing/moss from the engine. All this to prevent bending the pilot shaft.
I developed this idea after the first time I removed the engine and bent the spigot on the long pilot shaft. Years ago.l
