sounds like youve got it figured out. its hard to see where it comes from as the engine bay is fairly crowded. your best bet is to try and follow all the coolant pipes to and from the radiator. chances are its something simple - loose hose or something rubbing.
p.s. top up the coolant before you drive her again(obvious i know)
