So I finally tried to connect my laptop to the ECU to find out what is causing my check engine light to illuminate.
First off....those hex strews on the ECU to access the mini USB port are tiny!
Once I was able to access the USB port and connect the cable to my laptop with the Protune II software, I thought I would be good to go....unfortunately the USB drivers would not load! I tried multiple times, including trying to manually loading the drivers but I couldn't gain connectivity. I tried for about 45 mins, and finally gave up.
Anyone else have this problem?
