If you really want an ali dash have you considered laser cutting? More suitable for this application and avoids the problems that you will encounter with casting (and easily doable in stainless too). If you can find a simple 2D drawing package, sketch out roughly what you want and upload a DXF file to somebody like this for a
quick quote. If it is what you want and the price is right you could refine the detail later.
