I confess to being a dreadful hoarder; putting stuff away in case it comes in useful one day. Fortunately swmbo is a dyed in the wool "chucker-outer" so it is more or less kept in balance.

I must confess to a little frisson of satisfaction that I still have some offcuts, which I kept from the bar counter in my pub when we built the place 20 years ago. They are about to be pressed into service making good holes in the bar top (from redundant pumps and equipment) in a refurb which will kick off in 10 days time.
