A normally fitted steering wheel requires tools to remove. Not easy unless a determined and tooled up thief is trying.
A simple removable one is very vulnerable. Simple release mechanism so no tools.
A lockable removable is less so again requiring tools to sort the lock.
The locking boss type may cost more but worth it.
