I always understood the gearbox on my March 2011 Plus 4 to be a Mazda. Just checked the bell housing and it has 2 concentric rings cast into it, as Dave suggested. It's certainly a lot smoother operating than my friend's 2010 Plus 4 which we believe has the Ford box. Does the position of reverse vary between the two makes? My reverse is over to the right and back towards the rear.
