Hi Sospan, I havent asked Librands about their competition hoop. I have seen the picture on their site. Not seen it on a car though, so not sure how it looks and how it sits relative to the head(rests).
Would it fit under a studded hood? The Morgan bar doens fit under the easy-up but does fit under the studded hood, that makes it a nice intermediate height I thought. I'll ask though. Thanks J
I don't think any competition hoop will fit under a hood. I have the standard Librands on my car and it does fit....just, with a studded roof. The specs for comp bars set certain heights for head clearance and a line from the cowl( ?) to the rollbar. Something like that anyway. The standard Librands is not high enough to comply for racing.
Also, be aware that the headrests can hit the bar if your seats are right back. My drivers seat is lowered so no problem but passenger seat is standard and the headrest is high. It isn't an issue though as
doesn't have the seat right back.
Nearly forgot....the Librands comes with a bolt on bar for fitting multi point harness seat belts.
It would be simple to simply swop upper rollbars from standard to the other...just a few bolts.
