Well, what about if Thomson & Potter (the actual name of the supplying dealer) discontinued their Morgan Franchise - at which point you stayed loyal to one of the workshop staff who set up/joined an independent - or maybe you went local simply because you moved, or didn't fancy the drive from the borders to Perth for servicing?

I don't read anything sinister in this. Morgan dealers are by and large a great bunch - but there are some terrific independents out there also.
