The noise may well be a click or light tap rather than pop, I will use your suggestions with the help of my local dealer (l wish I had just a little more garage space and expertise!)
I first noticed the problem immediately after some intentional 'brutal' braking carried out during a road test - if that suggests anything?{quote} Try reversing quickly and jamming the brakes on. sometimes this puts every thing back in place.
