Sadly the DVLA will be no help with regards to you wanting to buy a car back or send a message to the owner.
I requested this for my fathers old series 3 land rover which he drove all over Africa when he was younger.
The cheque I wrote to the DVLA was returned in the post with a letter saying that basically they couldnt provide the info for that reason. It appeared more that it was for if you were in an accident.
Sorry this doesnt help, but might stop you getting your hopes up with regards to that. I think posting on here is probably one of your best hopes or maybe even try and contact morgan themselves?
