You can't do a great deal to an aero at the side of the road. On all of the trips I've been on we've not had any major issues.

Take a few cans of tyre fixing stuff and a pump as spares can be hard to come by. We experienced this on the original lap of Scotland. Take some spare fuses as well.

Other than that no other issues.

On the Nordkapp trip we managed to damage a sump but managed to fix this in a a Quick Fit type place with some heat resistant mastic. Strangely they let us use the workshop and just watched.

We did plan a head knowing the roads were likely to be poor after the winter we ran the aero and +8 on 18in wheels to provide a little more give.

Most importantly take some cash to pay your fines smile

This is where I normally get caught out.
