The biggest problem would be the design and pattern making, and if we were to use a Mulfab sump as a pattern, we may as well just use a Mulfab sump. If Ford bang the standard sump out at £220 plus, when they've made thousands, I reckon that the cost of a recast would put most people off. There are foundry's out there that will do a one off, but it still needs a pattern.
