It used to irritate me when my late mother used to say ! I can't eat cheese/ cucumber / tomatoes etc" so when some 20 years ago I started having stomach problems with mass produced beers, I wondered if I was being neurotic. What could be in them to cause problems? Anyway the answer was to switch to cider and thats what I drink these days, and indeed drank when I first tasted alcohol. As I mentioned elswhere I went on a tour of a microbrewery last week and the head brewers description of what ingredients they used when he worked for one of the majors gave me a plausible reason for why I cant drink mass produced beer but can happily drink micro brewery beer brewed the traditional non chemical way.
I dont like wine - always thought it was wildly over rated. Occasional G&T but otherwise its decent cider. Like the OP I reckon Rattler is good.
