Guys - Albert Ball was in killed serving in 56 Squadron RFC which became 56 Sqdn RAF on the formation of the RAF. The famous squadron colours are red and white checkered which are latterly adorned either side of the rondel
It would be fantastic if the M3W squadron turned all out at the service wearing distinctive red and white checkered bandanas in tribute to the squadron.
