On two cars with fly by wire throttles, there has been a procedure for resetting the throttle potentiometer after the car has been stood for a while. Usually involves turning on the ignition anf flooring the throttle a few times without starting the engine. The Lotus was a bugger for losing that throttle setting and it always had the effect you describe.
So exactly like twin Webers. Two presses squirts in the fuel and away she goes. Or have we moved on here!
