I decided to get a brake light strip to fit on the Mossman trunk I have just ordered. The idea was to fix it to the trunk with velcro so it could easily be removed. I then realised that I could use the same strip on the spare wheel by using a couple of straps with velcro on them. I haven't got the trunk yet but I'm quite happy with the spare wheel solution.
Th trickiest bit was working out what sort of connector a PO had used for their additional brake light feed. It turned out not to be an automotive connector but one for Tamiya RC kit.
