The appeal of a Morgan to passerby is not a myth, it’s a well documented phenomenon. Once a customer explained how he was torn and could not decide between a few different cars; I told him:
“I am guessing that you have never driven a red Morgan before. Every single person does a double take as you pass by, and at least once per outing someone yells out “Nice car!” This is simply a fact. Other high end, expensive fancy cars may have persons staring, glaring from resentful envy, or wondering what it is that the driver is trying to compensate for, but in a red Morgan everyone smiles and waves at you. You make new friends everywhere you go.”
