This is the museum that several of us (including spanner juggler) visited last year.
We were treated to a guided tour of the provost and some us got to sit in it as well.
Coupled with a few beers and good meal in a local hotel then a visit the next day to BBMF at RAF coningsby we had a fantastic time. Must go and see just Jayne next time.
Both metheringham and BBMF would be worth another visit as they're both fascinating places. My uncle was a mid upper gunner in a lanc sadly killed over Berlin aged 19 after winning the DFM He was stationed at kirton Lindsey which although now has been returned to farm land isn't too far from metheringham.
