I fitted the powerful uk units with LED sidelights on my CANBUS Plus 8. Fitted a resistor in the wiring but found that it got hot.
Solution? Keep the old side lamp bulb and leave it in the bowl behind the light unit, Simples!
it's exactly why for me a Mog with can bus is out of question
