I know we all tolerate at some level the idiosyncrasies of owning a M3W, but there are a few on my new M3W that I find inexcusable in a bespoke toy costing this much, So I thought I would list the most annoying (to me) of these in the hopes that the product improvement lurkers from Malvern may be reading this forum. In no particular order, some initial observations...

1) I ordered the "Vintage bonnet catches" at some significant expense, but was surprised to see the bonnet still had the holes for the dzus fastners in it, closed-off with a pop-rivet and washer on the inside, and NOT PAINTED! It's not like I added these at the last minute, as they were on the original order from 9 months ago. I don't see why the holes had to be there in the first place, much less closed-off with un-painted pop-rivets:

2) I needed the pedals moved to the forward-most position, so don't you think Morgan could have sent an extra floor mat that would have safely worked with this pedal configuration, rather than the useless shorty one that slides around and gets caught in the pedal box? Does anyone remember the Toyota floor mat debacle?

3) My car has the standard tan leather, Yarwoood Honey. However, this turns out to be a slightly different (lighter) hue than the previous standard tan color. So I suppose Morgan has a bunch of the tan dash appliques to use up before they start making ones that match. It's pretty obvious it's a different color...

4) I find it incredible that the speedo is so far off in 2017 when it's trivial to get it right.

Ah well, such as it is I suppose. I plan to replace the floor mats, the dash pads, live with the rivets, and hopefully re-calibrate the speedo. All in all I love it, but some of these minor, easily corrected items should just not be issues on such a car.
