Hi, AVO's, probably done to death however thought I would ask some who have fitted them, specifically REAR.
I bought The AVO dampers from Heart of England for my 2005 Roadster, front went on no issue however the rear ones were a little troublesome. Just wondered if I was right to do what I did.
Where the top fits to the bolt going through the corner of the roll bar, to have it at a right angle (straight up) left an 8mm gap, frame to top of unit; in order to tighten it appropriately it ended up pulling it across. Is this likely to cause any issues overstressing the damper do you think?
I have contacted John Worrall who got back to promptly however needed to ask A. Another.
Many thanks Abbo
