3) My car has the standard tan leather, Yarwoood Honey. However, this turns out to be a slightly different (lighter) hue than the previous standard tan color.

The mismatching leather dash panels were the first thing I noticed on my M3W and they still bug me now.
I've considered replacing them with black leather panels or some shiny turned aluminium ones but that just introduces more colours and materials which makes it somehow worse. Some body-coloured metal panels are probably the solution but for now I've just learnt to live with the fact that nothing quite matches.
You've noticed that the leather boot straps don't match the interior leather either?
