Thank you guys, I am at a point of doing absolutely nothing and see what luck has in store for me.
Back in 99 I wanted a cruiser bike and since I had heard bad assessments of Harley Davidson I bought the BMW's R1200C.
It was a BMW so had to be reliable right? Wrong the worst P.O.S. I have ever owned.
In 2002 I bought a Harley Softail Deuce, just celebrated it's 15th birthday. Just over 30K miles on it nothing has ever broken or gone wrong.
I also had a 2004 Harley V-rod for eight years and the same story.
It sounds as if the grease nipple is not such a hot deal anyway.
