Hello, all, great to be part of this group.
I'm working to get my fathers old +8 back on the road in the near future. It' s a 1990 +8 3.9 non-cat car, that needs attention to the usual items that wear or rust away, exhaust, brakes, tyres, clutch, etc to make sure it can be MOT'ed so any advice on topics below would be a help.
1. Tyres - current tyres are 27 years old! Perhaps good to replace them :-) now! Size 205/60/15 on alloy rims. What's good replacement option?
2. Exhaust - holed in the down pipe before the first box and cannot source replacement part. So looking at replacing system with a custom built stainless, single box and 4 exit pipes, like a modern +8 - advice, thoughts?
3. Need to replace or modify the clutch slave - where can i get the steel sleeve option done as suggested in 'GOMOG' ?
