How long as the car sat?
If more than 5 years as well as flushing out the brake fluid and coolant, flushing and changing the oil and filter, I'd replace all the rubber hoses, coolant and brake, plus rear drum cylinder seals and possibly the front piston seals.
If the discs are rusty you may have to replace them as well.
You might want to consider flushing out the fuel tank, pump and assuming it is twin SUs, the carb float chambers. Old Fuel gunge can cause all sorts of misfire problems and old fuel will have lost some of the more volatile components making starting difficult.
