In reply the original comment (unusual on TM, of course..) I watched the weather on Aunty this morning & the current heatwave in the northern Med areas is unparalleled it seems. Temps of 40 degrees plus and no rain for many weeks will take it's toll, not least on open top car driving.
We Brits love this sort of thing, don't we..? We giggle and hope for some real summer weather and yet wishing hours we're all going 'Phew..!' and expecting thunderstorms..!!
The whole global warming thing seems just so logical an effect that there has to be truth in the amount of causation factors, but the real unfairness is in how to control those factors.
Limiting car emissions just scratches the surface, when China, Russia, half of the rest of the world plus now the USA seem quite content to carry on regardless.
Add this to the ever increasing pile of man made, non-compostable packaging and the human race really is a mess.
Mixed with the utterly puerile self obsessed culture we're fed on a daily basis, religion and other dermot that passes for controlling the masses in the guise of 'reality', I'm sure of only one thing:
The more I look at the world, the more I love my dog and animals..
