How much improvement can be made to an 1800 Zetec?
Approx 180/200 bhp with throttle bodies , slightly wider cams and an Omex ECU , that should do nicely sir.
You might need to upgrade some other parts to cope.
That's the great thing about Zetecs, there's loads of stuff out there and specialists who are well-versed in getting the best out of the engine. You can get them up to 130-140bhp with very little effort, which is more than it sounds when you remember it's in a car that weighs little more than 850kg or so.
