Incidentally, I think Dougie McLean wrote 'Caledonia' when he was on the beach at Perros-Guirec.
I didn't know that.
Perros Guirec is famous for it's quarries which provided much of the pink granite for the building of Paris. Joeph Conrad lived for quite a few years nearby on île Grande.
