I've been looking at the cost of insuring the CLC, it is a 58 plate and worth, perhaps, 5K.
It is insured for 3 drivers and for my personal business use.
Based on the experience of people here you get what you pay for. Cheap policies are great if you never claim....!
Aviva, through a broker Chubb, who took over the previous broker I used, want £545, which is about what I pay for the Plus 8....
LV and Aviva direct both want £310
Last year we paid about £400
Gott and Wynn want £388, including legal cover.
Given that at Gott and Wynn I can talk to a real person we will use them. Dealing with Web based businesses is always going to be a pain. When the C43 is due next year they will probably get it too.
We insured the BMW last year with LV fully comp, NCB protected, full business use for £288. The renewal came through just before we sold the car and they wanted £480 for the same cover. Needless to say they aren't being used this year.
